Zoom, Code, Learn
Experience Pomodoro sessions over Zoom with a group of coders.
Beginner Friendly.
I usually send the zoom links out to everyone after 4pm PST usually.
It's not easy learning to code by yourself.
Having a support group is encouraging.
What's a Pomodoro Session?
A Pomodoro session is a time management technique developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. It involves breaking work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. The method is named after the Italian word for "tomato" because Cirillo used a tomato-shaped kitchen timer as a personal timer when he first developed the technique.
How does it work?
Choose a task you want to work on. We'll set a timer for 25 minutes. Silence our mics, cameras optional and start working.Work on the task with full focus and concentration until the timer rings. We take a short break and chat (usually around 5 minutes) after the Pomodoro ends.
